Winchester Cathedral invites visitors to ‘dance into the new year’ as tickets for next year’s Silent Discos have now gone on sale.

Taking place under the Whales installation in the majestic nave of Winchester Cathedral, there will be two discos; one for families (7.00pm – 8.30pm) and one for adults (9.00pm – 10.30pm). So whatever your age, you’re all set to have a whale of a time.

The last silent discos held at Winchester Cathedral took place in February 2024 and received rave reviews from many, including Hampshire Chronicle who reported ‘Everywhere I looked, there were happy faces, and despite some questionable dance moves, everybody was visibly enjoying themselves’.

Refreshments will be available to ensure disco-goers keep hydrated and stay on top of their dancing game. And with the city’s best restaurants and bars only a stone’s throw away from the cathedral, this could be the start of a night to remember. Or, a great way for your children to expel all their energy before bedtime, if you’re attending the family disco.

Silent Discos at cathedrals around the country regularly sell out, so it’s recommended to book as soon as possible to secure your tickets. You can book online, call 01962 857 275 or book in-person at the Box Office inside Winchester Cathedral.
