Theatre Royal Winchester

Theatre Royal Winchester is situated on Jewry Street in the heart of the city centre and just a 5 minute walk from Winchester Train Station.

The building is a grade 2 listed heritage theatre with an Edwardian style auditorium seating up to 400 on two levels; stalls and circle. It also has three dressing rooms that come with any use of the auditorium. It is suitable for conferences or assemblies.

In addition there are two further hireable spaces, both about 6m x 5m, and equipped for video meetings with large screens which incorporate dynamic microphones and a wide angled camera:

The Meeting Room (This space is back stage and can be used as a rehearsal space or additional dressing room where required: Max capacity = boardroom 16; presentation 30).

The Atrium (This space is a lovely small event or meeting space with great height and ability to be blacked out and so utilised as a small immersive performance space: Max capacity 30) There is also an attractive foyer which can be privately hired for social events or gatherings if the auditorium is not in use. The Atrium and the foyer can be used in combination to create a versatile space for Away Days and other similar events
