Workshop: Mindful Calligraphy

Join inspiring calligraphy teacher Laura Edralin for a creative and mindful afternoon workshop focusing on brush pen calligraphy, exploring spring-themes and floral details.

The workshop will begin with a gentle walk in Jane Austen’s garden, led by Laura, drawing our attention to the plants and flowers emerging from the winter ground and celebrating the arrival of spring. Back in the cosy Learning Centre, refuel with tea and cake before incorporating the botanical and floral imagery into a calm and mindful calligraphy session – developed especially to support mental wellbeing and leave you with the skills to take home and continue your practice.

You’ll finish the session with a hand-calligraphed bookmark – worthy of any Austen novel!
