Coach drop off

If your group is arriving in Winchester, there are two designated coach drop off locations.  The first and main drop off location is located at the lower end of the high street by King Alfred's statue.   This location is close to the Visitor Information Centre where members of your group can pop in to collect a map or ask the friendly team any questions they have.  The centre is also a great place to pick up a souvenir from your visit to the city!

The second location for coaches to drop off is at the upper end of the city, on Sussex Street, this is convenient for any groups visiting the Great Hall as a first stop in the city.  Coaches are not permitted to park in either of these locations, they must drop off and then vacate the area.

Coach parking

The city's designated coach park is in Worthy Lane (SO23 7AB).  This is a short 10 minute walk into the city centre for coach drivers.

Alternative parking

Alternatively there are service stations on both the A34 (Sutton Scotney Services) and M3 (Winchester services).
